World's oldest basketball shoes

These may be one of the oldest pairs of basketball sneakers in the world. The shoes were manufactured by the Colchester Rubber Company which shut down in 1893. Vintage clothing dealer Gary Pifer paid 50 cents for them at an estate sale in Vista, California.

From CafeTerra:

The Colchester Rubber Co. was located in Colchester, Connecticut and was in business from 1888 to 1893.

Daily Horoscope

Today's horoscope says:

You're in the mood to shop, big time, and to buy whatever it is you're absolutely sure no one else has -- or, at the very least, no one you know.
Before you whip out that plastic, though, think about this one thing: If you really want to be different, why not put your credit cards and your checkbook away and redo something you own -- in your very own way.
Invest in some paint and a couple of stencils.
You might end up with a profitable part-time business.

Well, my last painting netted some serious coin, why not?!
